Took pictures of Locus 4 in the western half of the trench after baulk walls were trimmed. Pickaxed and levelled extension, defined rocks and baulk walls. Performed a pick-pass in the western half of the original trench to even out the locus. Trimmed walls and levelled area. The locus here remains the same sandy texture and light brown color.
Pick-pass through entire original trench. Continued to level Locus 2 and define rocks in the extension; we havfe not yet declared a new locus here because we have not found a soil change. Trimmed baulk walls throughout trench.
