A.M.

A trench was extended from the cut in meters 34-36 S, 171-173 E to the wall of Archaic Building 1 that is directly to the west. The new cut extends from 34-36S 169, 169.5-171 E. It is being undertaken to investigate the relationship between the foundation and socle of the Archaic Building 1 walls to the archaic floor level described on pages 81-85 .

The topcut was designated Locus 9, probably equivalent to Locus 3.

P.M.

The new cut was continued to expose the destruction fill that will be excavated as Locus 10 tomorrow.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
