August 2, 1982
The soil and tile dumps for T-26 1982 were plotted out on a plan of the area. The unfired covertiles in UV/70 and T/70 were coated with a 15% PVA in water solution, as were the three pantiles stacked upon each other in V/67-68 and as was the carbonized wood at floor level (~40 cm) in meter V/75. A portion of the carbonized wood in V/75 was removed and taken to the magazzino to be stored before the remainder of the wood was PVA coated and left in place.
The tile pile for T-26 1982 was covered with soil, as was the tile pile for T-23 1981 and T-26 1981. The T-25 1982 ( see GD I ) was also covered with soil. A hole was dug in T-23 1981, meters through soil which had been dumped there this season. Pottery and pithos shall be buried here.
Approximately 5 cm of sand was placed over the area in meters MNO/77-82. This was then covered with ~10 cm of dump soil. Meters PQR/74-82 were covered with ~5-10 cm of sand also.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
