Work began to level and clean the trench for the declaration of a new locus, as the soil is an olive green colour and a finer texture.
Vitrified terracotta -
Following the cleaning of the trench it was decided to declare a new locus. Soil is a medium brown/olive with some roots and small stones. Soil is a fine clay-like texture. Following photos Locus 7 was declared across the extension to T 61.

Work continued in Locus 7 . Some pottery and tile was recovered.
Bronze Fragment -
We continued excavating during the afternoon session in Locus 7 . Soil remains a medium brown in colour. We recovered a substantial amount of terracotta tile, as well as numerous pieces of pottery. We also recovered a suspected piece of a brazier fragment. We also found a second piece of a vitrified terracotta.
