July 30, 1969
The one-meter strip C7-I7 was taken down two layers to the level of the rest of the trench. A piece of cornice was found in I-6 and 4 boxes of tile were dumped. A three-meter
strip was laid out to the east (on grid, C 8-10 to I 8-10), topsoil was cleared, and the first layer below topsoil excavated. A second cornice fragment came from H-10.
The cut was taken down to a level of ca 35 cm. 2 boxes of tiles were dumped. 2 rocchetti were found, 1 strawberry carton of sherds and a few bones, two of which were evenly cut ().
The remaining cut along the N edge of T6D towards T6C and T2 was started. See plan. Top soil was taken off.
A line of stone was noticed in grid L10. Length 2-10 m width. Immediately E of it a yellow soiil appeared, which seemed to continue into grid L11.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
