Find 3: Iron Slag

Locus 5

25.01m A.E.

Completed full pick pass of the trench. Recovered more terracotta and pottery. The material is still very worn. Some flakes of charcoal were found in the S.W. corner of the trench. Scraped down an area in the middle of the trench to see if it was a similar feature as was found in CB 54. Did another pick pass in the middle of the trench to level it out with the rest of the trench. Straightened the lip between CB 66 and CB 57. Uncovered terracotta and pottery. Picked the northern point of the trench. The terracotta and pottery are still worn and eroded.
