AM: worked in magazzino
PM: east baulk trim occupied the most labor. The rooty topsoil was also removed from P/Q 34-40. A large tree stump had to be removed from P/Q 34. The topsoil removal recovered ½ cassette of tile and ½ of a liter carton of pottery.
Baulk trim produced only occasional badly preserved tile and ½ of a liter carton of pottery.
Approximately 5cm of topsoil was removed from T31-33 with pick & shovel. Only occasional unidentifiable lumps of tile were recovered.
Two fragments of a spindle whorl and a bucchero body sherd with 2 parallel incised lines were recovered from trimming the east baulk.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
