Pick passes were made in locus 2. The area near the rock pack (locus 3) was defined. Locus 2 in meter 80S 195-198E and 79S 197E were dropped 5-10cm to a depth of 22-30cm.b.s. Work was hindered in meters 79S 197E, 80S 197E and 80S 198E by the large root systemfrom the stump in 79S 198E. It appears as though beneath the rocks in locus 3 there are larger significant rocks. Photographs were taken.
Locus 2 was picked 5-7cm to a depth of approximately 30-35 cm.b.s. \xbd latte box of pottery and 1 1/3 cassette of terracotta was recovered. To gain a better view of the rock pack the trench was extended 1m south in two meters. Points 82S 195E and 82S 197E were placed. The new area was swept of loose leaf material.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
