Daily Log



Trimmed the eastern baulk wall and removed more of the root system.  Levelled the floor and then created a new locus for the entire trench because it now has the same gray-white galestra-ish soil over all the trench.  The following points were taken from locus 9:

Began a 7cm cut in meter 51S161E and covered that meter and meters 52S161E and 53S161E.  Approximately 1/8 casseeta of terracotta was found, including a larger than usual amount of plaster, 6 pieces fo bulk pottery from the baulk wass, 14 pieces of bulk pottery from locus 9, and one special find.
