We continued to remove Locus 1 from meters 5N 33W and 5N 34W down to the start of the new locus. This area was leveled using trowels and cuts were made in meters 6N 33W and 6N 34W. This area was then leveled to the depth of the new locus. The soil characteristic of locus 3 is light brownish yellow with small white particulates of stone throughout. the baulk walls were trimmed and it was decided to remove Locus 1 in meters 6N 34W and 6N 35W after break.
We continued to clean up the baulk walls after break before moving on to the next cut. Once this was finished, Locus 1 was removed from meters 6N 34W and 6N 35W. The majority of terracotta was pottery was found within meters 6N 33W and 6N 34W today. 3/4 latte box of terracotta was found as well as 1/2 latte box of pottery. No bone was uncovered today.
