Under the thin layer of powdery earth mentioned on p. 183, appeared a wall ca. 1.10 wide, running through the whole trench, north to south. The level of the wall undulates, especially at the southern part, where the eastern edge slopes down. West of the wall were the scattered stones mentioned at p. 55, which stopped before the western edge of the wall; east of the wall appeared a layer of tiles and scattered stones and north of that a burnt area, see plan. In the surface of the burnt are a waterspout head was found at grid C3. For sketch of the trench, .

T1 AK A trench was laid out parallel to the trenches 1V, 1AB, and 1AE, measuring 11.15x2m, see plan . Topsoil was taken off, and the first layer, which produced an amount of 4 tileboxes. At the eastern part of the trench the so-called \'\'northgoing wall\'\' (see p. 131 and plan s. 152 ) continued right through the trench.
