Daily Log 30/7/10

No work was done for a few hours to let the trench dry out from the rain. A pick pass was done in the northern part of the trench to bring down the high parts of locus 2 remaining around the large stones and roots of stump D. The soil is muddy but not too impossible to sort. Soil was sorted into buckets and dumped. A piece of coil made pottery was uncovered (special find #1). The pottery and tile is very fragile. After this pass is sorted we will let the trench dry more in hope of being able to dig this afternoon.
