The cut begun in meters L(M)/67-68 was completed to 105 bd. The soil in the area bordering meters L.M had a heavy concentration of plaster, but further back in meter L the plaster content radically changed and the soil was a very dark brown with only flecks of plaster. Throughout the cut 2 latte boxes of pottery were found and a heaping of cassette of tile and plaster. Some of the plaster pieces were rather large and many preserved reed impressions. The only find from this area was a piece of worked bone (#1). However a piece of slag (#2) and another piece of vitrified or production material were founf in close association in L/68.
A 2nd cut was begun in these meters, L(M)/67-68. This cut will be finished this afternoon. but already had produced a fair amount of tile and plaster as well as pottery. Two rochetti frags (#3 & 4) and 2 pieces of plaster with both finished edges and reed impressions.

Work continued in meters L(M)/67-68 to a depth of 116 cm bd. 1 cassette of tile and plaster fragments and 2 latte boxes of pottery were found. The soil in this level had a very heavy concentration of plaster, especially in L(M)/67 where a small area of plaster laid directly over an area of tile fragments. Several of the more interesting pieces of plaster were taken to the mag. Other find included: a rochetto, an ivory inlay frag, and some pieces of slag and other vitrified material.
