Excavation began this morning defining the rocks in Locus 2 , and some work in Locus 4 . The soil in Locus 4 is becoming lighter in colour. Very few (less than 10) sherds of tile were recovered.


Excavation continued in Loci 2 and 4 . Soil in Locus 4 is becoming progressively lighter in colour. Some tile and pottery have been recovered.

Closing Totals

Locus 4 = 1/6 th bowl tile + 3 sherds pottery

Locus 2 = 1/10 th bowl tile + 4 sherds pottery
