T-53 yielded a fair amount of metal. The vast majority of the metal counted was recovered from Locus 6 and 9 in two pockets of carbon and bulk bronze. With the exception of 4 pieces of iron slag, all metal finds in T-53 were bronze.

A bronze pin from Locus 1 (pg 21, 20090001) was recovered from erosion. Additionally, 3 bronze tacks (pg 47; pg71, 20090215; pg 93, 20090210), 4 bronze pins (pg 49; pg 51; pg 59, 20090077; pg 93, 20090206), and a bronze rod fragment (pg 39, 20090104) were recovered from Loci 4, 6, and 9.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
