Work continued along the west side of the agger in this area. Excavation was stopped at a layer of burned and blackened earth 115-120 cm below surface.
Excavation was continued to bring this area to the same level as that of Agger 4.
- Along the southern edge of the trench 3.3 m form the eastern edge of the trench at a depth of 1.1 m
- complete panther head spout
A fragment of cavetto was also found ( Depth 1.1m, 4.5m from est, 0.20m form south). In addition at a depth of 1.1m (3.0m E, 2.1 m S) was found a cut out. see p. .
8 boxes of tiles were dumped from this area.
A new trench was laid out along the western sides of the deep cuts in Ag 3 and4. Its W boundary was a line 8m form and parallel to the inner (W) face of the N-S wall in agger 4. Its E border followed the line of the W edge of the deep cuts in Agger 3 and 4 and ran for their entire length. Topsoil was taken off in this area.
