Daily Log

June 22, 1978

The morning began with cleaning of the surface of the north slope bared by the bulldozer on Saturday.  The cleaning covered the area A-C 6-15.  The burned layer penetrates the remaining balk and the cleaning yielded two cassette of tile and scattered pottery fragments from that layer.  Directly below, the fine-grained yellow soil contacted below the burned layer in T-17 occurs.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
