AM The day began with pickpasses in the eastern and southern parts of the trench. The soil is still very dark and full of organic material. In order to move down quicker through the soil it was decided to focus on the two easternmost meters of the trench. The area was stringed off and declared locus 2 .

Opening elevations, locus 2 NW corner: 1,43 m b.d. 30,11 m AE NE corner: 1,43 m b.d. 30,11 m AE SE corner: 1, 44 m b.d. 30,10 m AE SW corner: 1,45 b.d. 30,09 m AE The soil of locus 2 is identical to the soil of locus 1 , very dark with a lot of roots and other organic material.

PM Pickpasses were made in locus 2. The finds consist mostly of worn terracotta. Work ended early due to rain.
