Daily Log



Finished clarifying moist brown soil in meters 51S160E and 52S160E.  The soil was only approximately 10cm below, sterile, and ended at the plaster layer.  It was declared to be locus 11 and the following points were taken:

Then locus 10 was returned to and another 10cm cut begun.


Continued cut and currently covers meters 51S160E, 52S160E, and 53S160E.  1/16 cassetta of bulk terracotta was found today.  Approximately 8 pieces of bulk pottery from locus 11 and approximately 9 pieces of bulk pottery from locus 10 were found.
