Work began on the hill at 8 am. We cleared the brush within meters 4N 33W and 8N 36W in order to establish an area for a 3x4 meter trench. Points were established perpendicular to the baseline from the point 0N 30W. Points 4N 30W and 8N 30W were then used to triangulate the point 4N 33W. This point will then serve as a corner point for trench CA-47 (seefor layout of exploratory trench CA 43 - CA 47).
We plotted thepoints of trenches CA 43 - CA 47 on millimeter paper using a 1/100 scale (see enclosed).

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
