Work continued in Trenches 18 and 19, the north extensions.

T-19 J-L/34-35:

The yellow soil was cleared down to the level of a large broken pithos, approx. 90 cm below topsoil ( see plan, p. 150 ).  The wall base appears in the north end of the trench and fragments of the wall extend to the south.

  • 2 cassetti of tiles discarded
  • 1 cassette of pottery

T-19 L-M/28-30:

The area of the bucchero fall was cleared and extended ( see plan on p. 138 ).  The sherds appear in grids L/28-30 predominantly and in the south part of M/28-30.  The greatest concentration lies in L/29-30.  For finds, see JN III, p. 17 .
