It is decided that, with the end of the season so near, the trench should be shut down at the current depth and work resumed at the onset of next season. The morning is spent defining rocks and trimming baulks. Finals photographs (p) are taken. The following final depths are taken in meters E125/S21-22, the only meters in which significant work has been done:
