T-26 Summary: Work continued in B/77-78 cleaning down the rock/tile packing.  Tile: negl.  Pottery: negl.

T-23 Summary: Work continued in A/11 and into B/11 at 60 cm.  Tile: 1/2.  Pottery: 1/2.

Students cleaned down the rock/tile packing in meters B/77-79 for part of the morning (45-60 cm).

Meters A/11-12 were taken to 60 cm and the soil carefully gone through in wheelbarrows, and sieves when a concentration of ivory was found.  The soil shows evidence of a burn layer (red-orange with black specks, light).

T-23 Summary: The 60 cm cut was extended into meters B/11-12.  Tile: 1/4.  Pottery: negl.

Meters B/11-12 were taken down to ~60 cm (part of the meters).  Soil shows evidence of orange-black burn layer.  Rocks and tile show an increase in concentration.  The soil was carefully inspected in the wheelbarrow.  No work was done in T-26 this afternoon.
