Work continued on the floor of the south east building.

In section LM/78-81, the section was cleared for the next cut.  The tile fragments were checked and then dumped in the tile pile.  Various pithos fragments, including a base and a lid were found, and other pottery finds consisted primarily of impasto, orange ware, and red ware.  Plaster pieces, large and small were also abundant, along with pieces of terro cotta waster with fingerprint impressions. (Examples were brought down for study.)  More flakes of bronze were also discovered.

In section MNO/72-77, the third cut was begun.  Aisde from the discovery of bronze flake (O/72) finds were limited to assorted pottery fragments including bucchero, tile fragments and possible slingstone pieces.
