Trench photos taken on cardinal points. Continued to work on the 10cm cut that we began on June 21. The soil is dark brown and contains muich organic material. A bedrock outcropping is present in W71/S32-S33. Also there was no noticable difference in soil found in the depression.

Completed the 0-10cm cut this afternoon. Traces of carbon were present but no large concentration. Materials recovered included 17 pottery pieces and \xbc a casette box. A piece of worked stone was found in W69/S37 at 17cm and made a find. Another piece of worked stone was found in W71/S41 at 13cm and made a find.
