IV. Daily Log

A.M./P.M.    14 July 2016

Excavation continued in locus 11 .  The pick-pass started yesterday was completed across the entire locus.  The locus was then closed.  Approximately 1/2 dozen small well-worn fragments of terracotta was recovered.  No pottery sherds were found.  The entire area under locus 11 was now declared locus 12 .  Elevations and photos were taken.  The soil is dark olive-brown in color.
