Daily Log

July 19, 1994

The two covertiles, one in M/71and one in M/76, were photographed and removed.  Neither preserved a full width or length and were not made finds.

A cut was initiated in the L meter and completed to a depth of 90-95 cm over L/71-76.  Pottery and tile were both rather light, with about 1/2 a cassetti of tile and 1/2 a latte box of pottery throughout all six meters.

Portions of this area are comprised of a medium brown soil with plaster inclusions.  Other portions are a medium brown soil with very little material.  Very few stones are present except for those impacted around the area of the stump which was removed yesterday.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
