Excavation continued in meters G/49-44 to a depth of cir. 70 cm. Soil remains medium orange brown with plaster and carbon inclusions. Stones encountered were infrequent and small to medium in size. Tile was found throughout the cut, exposed and defined. This tile may represent a continuation of the tile concentration of I/44-45 and will be left in situ until the area is better defined. Pottery was excavated in low to medium concentrations throughout the G/49-44 area.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
