Daily Log- 24 Jul 09
AM- Began excavating in locus 7 in sections A & B. Soil is dark brown and relatively free of inclusions in section A, though there is a fair amount of terracotta
recovered. The area in section B west of the tree root is more compact. The soil has some carbon and galestra inclusions. In and around the rubble wall, fairly large pieces of terracotta have been recovered.
