Daily Log

July 8, 1993

Work with mestilini continues in meters N5-6,W1-2, bringing the area down to an average depth of 50-55 cm. Soil was uniformly medium brown except at 52-55 cm in portions of N5,W1 where soil shifted to a darkly burned black soil. Pockets of plaster were revealed in portions of this area as well.

As normal, finds were drawn onto the overall meter grid plan for this area.

Tomorrow, the horizontal plane will be evened and drawn.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
