Daily Log- 23 Jul 09
AM- Began digging in all sections. Soil in section B has the most cohesion; it is clayey with a greenish brown color. Sections A and C have looser soils with more carbon inclusions and pottery. There are spots in Section A that are more cohesive however. Elevations during the afternoon:
1- 26.85; 2- 26.86; 3- 26.84; 4- 26.86; 5- 26.90; 6- 26.91; 7- 27.00; 8- 26.95; 9- 26.92; 10- 26.95; 11- 26.99; 12- 27.01
These are the closing elevations for Locus 6 in Sections A & B. Due to the change in soil cohesion and color in parts of sections A & B, I've decided to declare a new locus in these sections. Section C still appears to be fill.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
