Lateral sima fragment, head
The second layer was taken off along the same strip of the trench. The southern most edge of the trench produced stones, probably bedrock . 14 boxes of tiles were dumped. The tiles showed a marked concentration towards the grids E-F-G 1-5, were also one lateral sima head was found forgotten with pieces of horserace frieze and cavetto. The tiles were sizeable and of fairly good quality. There were almost no sherds in this layer.
