Work continued throughout the trench. Soil on the western border with CB 55 is highly compacted and a very dark brown. Soil in the East of the trench continues to be medium brown and flaky in texture. Roots were clipped prior to lunch. Some charcoal and carbonised seeds were present in the western part of the trench also.
