Work continued in Trench 19, grids E-F/44-46 clearing down to approximately 60 cm below topsoil. The soil cleared is dark brown and full of stones, tile fragments, and pieces of pottery. There is a very heavy concentration of pottery sherds in this area, mostly impasto with some bucchero.
