The day began with a leveling pick pass of the trench in preparation for final trench photos. After the cleaning and the photos the trench will be closed. My trench partner, Jill Harrison, has already moved into our new area, T-43, to begin clearing in preparation for the opening of T-43 this afternoon.
Clearing, leveling, and defining of T-42B's northern extension were completed and photos were taken. Both the main trenc and the northern extension were covered with a tarp to preserve them for drawing by the architect later this summer.
Closing elevations for Locus 5 were as follows:
NW 44 cm b.d. 25.79 m absolute elevation
SW [87 cm b.d.]* 25.36 m absolute elevation
SE 98 cm b.d. 25.25 m absolute elevation
NE 56 cm b.d. 25.67 m absolute elevation
center 66 cm b.d. 25.57 m absolute elevation
