Clearing with brush and mestalina continued in meter J/12. The soil here was dark brown in color and of dense consistency. One half of a box impasto sherds, a few pieces of bone and a few small chunks of plaster wer discovered in the dark brown soil. Work also continued in lifting and clearing the stone concentration in meters I_J/14. Approximately twenty five stones of small and medium size were removed. The soil around the stones was dark brown in color with a high concentration of carbonized wood. A large amount of material was found deposited among the stones. Three boxes of impasto and coarseware sherds, including several burned pieces, one half of a bag of vitrified

tile fragments, one eight of a cassetta of tile, one quarter of a bag of bone, and one quarter of a bag of plaster were discovered in the dark brown soil. One quarter of a bag of small pieces of slag, almost all of which was found in meter I/14, was also recovered. Three larger pieces of slag discovered in meter J/14 were bagged separately.
