Twenty-five boxes of tile were dumped today.  The strata levels have changede.  A disruption in the usual tight seal of stones taht begins in grid E and sloly breaks away from the upper later seal, becoming more evident on grids H-N.  This "earlier" layer of stones (or "seal") is comprised of tightly packed stone approximately 30 cm. thick.  One can very easily surjmise from this ahnd from the material that is coming out and should be coming out, that this is an earlier dump (contemporary to the pockets in Tesoro 5E?)  The contents of this dump although the same as the rest of CA are

more concentrated, better preserved and of a richer variety than the rest.  [For further discssion of this see the summary.]  The area enclowsed by L-O, 1-2 is being taken down to the stone layer for photo-groups.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
