Daily Log

Friday July 15, 1994

Work began with completing the pick pass begun yesterday in H-I/20-22.  As yesterday, this layer had more tile, carbon, and pottery than the preceding layers.  This layer lay at 70-82cm and appeared at a shallower level in the west than in the eastern part of the trench (i.e. it sloped down from west to east).

After this a meter wide extension to the south was measured out so that we coul excavate down to the level of the stone feature.  Approximatly 10cm of topsoil was removed from I/21-22.

Pottery from H-I/20-22= 1/2 liter box

tile from H-I/20-22= 3/4 cassette

tile from H/21-22= 1 literbox

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
