The trench floor was swept and cleaned. Photographs were taken. Work continued in locus 7. Pick passes were made through locus 7 which dropped the area down to a depth of 70-90 cm.b.s. Work continued in locus 8 with trowels and a baulk hammer. Small rocks are appearing at a depth, in meters 77S 195E and 196E, of 15-30 cm.b.s. Photographs were taken.
The floor of locus 7 was leveled. 2/3 cassette of terracotta and 1/8 latte box of pottery was recovered. The baulk walls of 80S and 81S 195E (west) and 81S 195E and 196E (south) were trimmed to get a better sense of the stratigraphy. The baulk trim recovered \xbc cassette of terracotta and 9 pieces of pottery. An impasto base fragment and a painted piece of pottery were found. In locus 8, the rock packing appears to flatten out and end in meters 77S 195E and 196E. A rochetto fragment was found in this locus as well. In locus 8,
\xbd cassette of terracotta and 4 pieces of pottery were recovered. Due to the leveling of the stones, locus 8 ranges from 10-35cm.b.s.
