Work continued in Trench 19. Three men cleared under the tile layer in Grids G-I/47-49. This area produced scattered tile fragments, course pottery sherds, much bucchero and bones. In clearing this area, the edge of a possible wall was uncovered running N-S at the 48th meter and parallel to the straight line of stones in the 49th meter, thus making the foundation (?) over two meters wide.
