Trench T28N was placed on the south flank slope near the workshop by working from the grid point of tesoro -26 south 54S 186E and then 72S 186E and the grid lines from the magnotometer survey. The trench is positioned around the low point (80S 197E) revealed by the magnotometer survery, profile B. The trench, T-28 North, measures 4m x 2m and its coordinates are 79S 195E, 79S 199E, 81S 195E, and 81S 199E. The surface was designated locus 1 and was cleared of loose debris.
