June 8, 1987
Work was begun in T-26 and T-25 by cutting the grass over the floor and sides of the trench preparatory to lifing the backfill over the two trenches. The areas appeared to be in fairly good condition. The was some washout from the balks and in YZ/60-61 a very poorly exposed (preserved) floor was exposed from erosion.
In the far eastern meters a large amount of tile was scattered about. Apparently most of this was from individuals digging to the north in meters 92 and 93. Some may also have been due to washout. Additionally, as can be seen in the photographs the protective plastic had been pulled up around L-N/93-94.
No apparent damage was done here. All the fragments throughout the trench were retrieved and those from 92 and 93 reserved to be checked for joins with material excavated in 1987.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
