Two pickpasses began the morning in order to further remove the tennis court fill. The fill has been removed from about half the trench with the blue layer of clay remaining in many areas. As more rocks have been appearing in the south the blue clay level will be excavated fully after the majority of the fill has been removed. Three additional pickpass across the width of the trench were done working west. Small fragments of mixed tile and a small amount of pottery has been found, mostly in the heavy brown and blue clay. In the North of the trench it appears that there could be a greater amount of pottery and tile, though the heavy brown clay may also be sloping.
Picking continued in the west of the trench pulling back the fill from the last 1m of the trench. Picking and shoveling continued into wheelbarrows and within the central 2m of the trench picking to remove the blue and brown clay continues. Multiple pickpasses were done in the western extent of the trench have been done through the fill.
