Excavation continued on 2 layers below topsoil in wedge-shaped area B4-5 to M 4-5 ( see plan ; this is the wedge to the east of the old grid). Produced

The third layer was taken off in the new cut. 3 boxes of tiles were dumped. One piece of procession frieze was found and one paw (with rounded toes like a cat's paw). Among the tiles were curved pieces which might be part of a ridgepole tile.
Trees were cut in order to prepare from an eastward extension of T6D.
