The 12th layer was continued to a depth of ca 2.25m, laregely because of numerous finds in the central (U,V-13) and NW (T,U-1,12) areas of
the excavated section. More bedrock at the E end and galestra at the W end limited the area of excavation. The remaining region of black soil (with relatively few rocks) poved very productive. Ultimately a total of 16 boxes of tiles was collectd from the area, 10 boxes on this day.
