Lithics Summary

Lithics summary

Locus 1 : 2 fragments of worked chert

Locus 2 : 0

Both fragments of worked chert\x97the entirety of the lithic content of CB-40\x97were uncovered in Locus 1 and catalogued as ( 20100031

20100031
) and ( 20100029
20100029
). The flakes are few in quantity, small and simple so it is hard to say if they were created and/or utilized in CB-40 or just discarded there. Regardless of this uncertainty, these fragments are evidence that worked stone was being used within the larger Civitate B area.
