The photographer took black and white photos and color slides of the trench using a bipod this morning. There were some complications with this process due to trees. After the photos were taken, we continued to remove Locus 1 in meters 6N 35W and 5N 35W.
A diagram was drawn of the different loci, then we continued to remove Locus 1. By the end of the day, Locus 1 had been removed in meters 6N 34W, 6N 35W, 5N 35W, and 5N 34W. the remainder of Locus 1 will be removed tomorrow. No bone was found today, but one latte box of terracotta was found and 1/4 latte box of pottery. Most of the pottery is impasto with a dew pieces of orangeware.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
