A pick pass was done in the northern part of the locus (51-50 S). Soil was then sorted and dumped. While cleaning a piece of unusual terracotta was found (SF #1), a unique piece of terracotta was found (SF #2), and a possible statue fragment was discovered (SF #3). Another pick pass was done in the next meter south (51-52 S). While sorting the soil a piece of cavetto was found (SF #4). Tile and pottery was unearthed. The soil is the dark-brown clay like soil but there are patches of flakey white soil through out the pass. Another pick pass was done in the southern most meter of the locus. Tile and pottery was unearthed. Soil was sorted into buckets and dumped. While sorting the tile bowl a fragment of frieze plaque with dentals was found (SF #5). in the trench. It was recovered near the stump on the western baulk wall, it will be counted in bulk bone. Another pick pass was done between 51 and 52 S. Soil was sorted into buckets and dumped. Less of the white/yellow flakey soil was found here. Worn tile and pottery was found. Some of the tile found in the last few pick passes are slightly larger than in locus 5 , they are ~5-10 cm in size but they are still not the most frequent fragments.

A pick pass was done in the northern part of the locus. Tile and pottery was recovered. The soil still seems to be the darker brown soil with flakey soil included. The next meter south was picked. Soil was sorted into buckets and dumped. The final meter was picked and sorted. While sorting a piece of worked chert was found (SF #7). Because of the amount of soil removed, the western and northern baulks need to be trimmed. The afternoon was spent trimming baulks.
