The area E-6 - F-6 at depth c. 1.10-1.25m was interspersed with pockets of small fragments of bucchero -- there were fewer tiles at this depth and the concentration of stones in this sector was less than that found in D.

Below layer of yellowish earth -- irregular in shape and depth was a darker layer of earth mixed with pottery

and pieces of carbonized wood [depth c. 1.10m] -- several small amorphous pieces of bronze [ 19710840

] occurred in area H/7, 4/7 relatively close to the surface. The greatest concentration of tiles occurred c. 2.0m from N wall in sector B-C 4-7. A row of very large stones apeared close to the surface C-J 4 running perpendicular to those found the pereviuos year [see EN I p.  ]

19710293 ] found in dark layer earth mixed with concentration of cafbonized wood -- the area gives appearance of being heaviluy burned -- the bronze and pottery in this area show no traces of burning on outside -- the inside of several however appear to have been burned.
