About 10 more boxes of tile were lifted at the western end. Finds included another piece of horse race frieze and a bronze nail. The southern continuation of the western wall was found to stop very neatly 80 cm into the trench, or 1.8 m out from the corner of the building .It also became apparent that the concentration of small round stones was right off the southeast corner of this projection.
A new trench 1AF was laid out east of 1AD 3x18.25 m along the southeastern edges of 1Q and 1P. Topsoil was removed.

Cover tile with alpha
was taken down to 40 cm and produced 11 boxes of tiles. 1 box of pottery and 2 boxes of plaster.
A new trench was laid out, 10 x 3 m. South of the trenches 1AB and 1AE. Topsoil was removed from about half of the trench.
